Security Analyst
Job Summary
The Security Analyst manages and supports a platform used to track and assess external vendor connections to the company’s internal network. This role serves as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders requesting vendor connectivity and helps ensure vendor access is documented, reviewed, and monitored in accordance with security and risk management practices.
The position works closely with internal teams and the tool developer to support users, improve processes, test system updates, and provide reporting on vendor connectivity and associated risks.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and support the vendor connectivity management tool used to track third-party access to company systems and networks.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders requesting vendor connectivity.
Assist users with submitting and managing requests within the platform and respond to questions regarding vendor access.
Review and document vendor connections including firewall rules, VPN access, SFTP accounts, external system access, and file sharing services.
Maintain accurate records of vendor connectivity including vendor details, source systems, connection purpose, and associated risk considerations.
Coordinate with the tool developer to submit feature requests, report issues, and support system improvements.
Participate in testing and validation of updates to the platform, including form and reporting changes.
Track and follow up on vendor connectivity requests to ensure timely resolution.
Generate reports summarizing vendor connections and associated risk levels to support management oversight.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience with network security, system administration, IT governance, or cybersecurity processes required.
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A strong self-starter and ability to take a problem from start to finish including performing root cause analysis.
Some development or scripting knowledge (ex: Python, javascript, PowerShell)
Experience working with workflow tools, ServiceNow, or ticketing systems is a plus.
